About Prep Room Co

Prep Room Co started with a simple observation about home kitchens: the tools you reach for most are often the ones with nowhere to live. Colanders are bulky. Sieves get bent in a drawer. So we built a small shop around food preparation gear that earns its space.

Our catalog is deliberately short. It includes a set of three round silicone colanders that collapse to about 1.1 inches, a stainless steel rice strainer with a slanted bottom and a suction cup hook, and a three-piece fine mesh sieve set in 3.15, 4.72, and 7.87 inch diameters.

Each product page sticks to what we can verify: quart capacities, expanded and folded heights, materials, and care instructions. If a detail is not part of the product information, we leave it out rather than fill the gap.

We think about the whole prep flow, not just the moment of draining. Rinsing rice, washing salad leaves, sifting flour for baking, and lifting pasta from boiling water are different jobs, and the tools here are matched to those jobs rather than to a single all-purpose gadget.

The result is a prep drawer that stays organized: colanders that fold, a strainer that hangs on the wall, and sieves that nest by size. That is the standard we hold our lineup to, and it is why the list stays short.
